The Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers have made history over the past three years as competitors in the Finals. That’s no secret to the world. They seem destined to once again meet at the end to continue this battle.
The Cavs haven’t done much of anything to actually improve their already great team during this young offseason, and the Dubs have made sure to keep their squad together. The only difference between the two teams is how their path to the Finals is changing.
With Paul George going to Oklahoma City and Chris Paul going to Houston, the Warriors path got a little tougher, not that it’s ever easy in the west. With The East losing another star player, the Cavs path looks to have gotten a little bit easier even though they didn’t struggle to get through the east already.
With all of this being said, it looks like we get to see this recent rivalry hit an even higher note. They’ve already proven that their battles don’t just happen on the court, they continue off of them.
