Bregman Walks It Off

Game 5 would end up being an epic 25-run contest, capped off a few innings after Springer’s homer when Alex Bregman hit the first walk-off of his career. The bloop into shallow left sent Derek Fisher bolting for home plate, sealing the 13-12 victory and giving Houston a 3-2 Series lead.

Pederson Goes Yard

Joc Pederson was left off the Dodgers’ National League Division Series roster but became L.A.’s hero in Game 6 with a game-tying homer late in the contest that kept Dodgers’ hopes alive by forcing a Game 7.

And Finally…Correa Isn’t Waiting For His Ring

Correa was the first overall pick in 2012 and was the cornerstone of the Astros’ rebuilding process, which sent them from one of the biggest laughingstocks in MLB to World Series champions. After the game, Correa became the real MVP after taking a knee and proposing to girlfriend Daniella Rodriguez live on TV.
