Unless you’re a sneakerhead, you may be surprised to find out that the top-selling sneaker of 2016 was not a pair of Jordans.
It wasn’t the LeBron 13s either.
In fact, the top-selling sneaker last year was the Adidas Superstar. The retro Jordan XIIs came in at second.
At third? It was the old stand-by, Converse Chuck Taylors.
You probably have a pair sitting in your closet, it might have even been there for years. If not, you did at some point in your life.
Why? Chucks are iconic.

You shouldn’t mess around with a legendary kick like Chuck Taylors, but that’s exactly what Converse is doing.
