John Cena is a polarizing figure in the WWE, but not because he’s a heel. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Cena will forever go down as the greatest face the company has ever seen.
His number one priority is connecting with kids and though some jump on the “Cena Sucks!” bandwagon, there are millions more who adore the big guy.
Cena’s also been around for a while, debuting on the main WWE roster in 2002. Since then, the kid from West Newbury, Massachusetts has amassed 25 total championship belts – 16 being world titles.
He’s a marketer’s dream, outselling every other superstar when it comes to merchandise in the promotion’s history.
When you’re nicknamed “The Face That Runs The Place,” people are eventually going to get tired of seeing your mug everywhere.
The pro crowd far outweighs the con crowd.
His endless commitment to the Make-A-Wish Foundation is unparalleled.
To date, Cena has granted over 500 wishes through the charity and he has no plans on stopping.

He’s also appeared in movies, TV shows, commercials, social awareness ads, you name it. There’s even a John Cena meme floating around the Internet that seems like it will never die.
If it has anything to do with promoting being a good guy, Cena is all in.
