According to ESPN’s resident shoe/brand reporter Nick DePaula:
Jordan Brand is halting the Melo shoe series after 13 models, according to industry sources, making last season’s Melo M13 sneaker the final model of the line. Though he has continued wearing the M13 during Thunder preseason games, it’s expected that Anthony will wear a combination of shoes from the brand this upcoming year, such as the Air Jordan XXXII, custom editions of retro models, and possibly even a remixed version of his very first signature model.
Anthony denied the line was ending when speaking to reporters after the Thunder’s preseason game Tuesday, saying, “I don’t read into false news.”

Anthony’s signature line is the fifth-longest running in the NBA, behind Jordan himself (32), Kobe Bryant (17 combined between Adidas and Nike), LeBron James (15), and Allen Iverson (14) but the company is not expected to cut ties completely.
Anthony and Jordan Brand agreed to a new long-term deal in January and will remain a fixture of the brand, minus the signature kick.– will remain a key featured athlete for the company.
Anthony’s relationship with Jordan dates back to high school when he played for Oak Hill Academy in Virginia, which was sponsored by Jordan Brand. Anthony took that relationship – albeit, unpaid – to Syracuse where he wore Air Jordan XVIII’s during Syracuse’s 2003 national championship season.
