Cornerback Logan Ryan may not be a household name like Richard Sherman or Darrelle Revis, but his off-the-field endeavors should make him one.
Now, that’s not to say he isn’t good at what he does; he does have two Super Bowl rings from his four seasons with the Patriots.
Look, not every football player is a good guy – let’s face it, not every person is a good person – but there are an overwhelming number of professional athletes who are good people, who use their stature, celebrity, and finances to help others.
Logan Ryan is one of these athletes.
Ryan posts photos on his Instagram of shelter pups that need adoption, using #RyansMonthlyRescue. In the captions, he gives a synopsis of the dog and information on how you can adopt them.
This one's for my New England folks! This is Bubba. He is a resident of Cranston Animal Shelter, but currently admitted to Ocean State Veterinary Specialists for medical care. Bubba has an autoimmune disease that causes his body to attack his skin, but thru it all he remains brave and affectionate. He will soon be released from the hospital and really needs to go to a HOME. @handsomedansrescue Rescue will even pay for his treatment! If you are local and able to help Bubba through this and give him the life he deserves, contact Nicole at Cranston Animal Shelter- (401) 464-8700 or email volunteer Connie at [email protected] #RyansMonthlyRescue
It definitely shows that Ryan has a huge heart, but he doesn’t just reserve it for furry friends, he does some pretty incredible things for the human kind, too.
