When you think of which colleges produce the most top NBA players from a traditional standpoint, there are probably five that come to mind almost immediately.

If Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke, UCLA, and Kansas aren’t your exact top five, they’d all make your top 10 list, right?

Would you be shocked to find out that isn’t necessarily the case?

Using SI‘s Top 100 NBA Players of 2017-18 list, some of the more traditional schools aren’t represented as well as you may initially think, while others fared a little bit better than you might have guessed.

But one thing’s for sure: John Calipari really does have an NBA factory going on in Lexington.
