But on June 14th, Floyd Mayweather made the announcement that the fight between him and MMA megastar Conor McGregor would indeed happen.
And now that Vegas has taken in money on the fight the promotional tour is set to begin this week.

As the two fighters travel the globe doing pressers and photo ops, they will continue their training – if you haven’t seen this yet, pro boxer Chris van Heerden trained a bit with McGregor.
If you have a lot of faith that McGregor will be able to pull off what many are saying would be one of the biggest upsets the worlds of boxing and mixed martial arts have ever seen, you may not want to watch this…
People telling me Mayweather will have his hands full trying to land on McGregor -STOP IT! I respect McGregor BUT i ain't Floyd and i landed pic.twitter.com/gd4dFi3XUU

It’s not the best look for McGregor, but then again, the timestamp is June 14th, the day the fight was announced and likely filmed before that, while Notorious was in the early stages of training for a boxing match.
