Nike is the undisputable champion when it comes to basketball shoes.
Actually, according to Forbes – and anyone with a TV, radio, Internet connection, or has ever shopped anywhere, Nike is the No. 1 sports brand in the world, worth $15,000,000,000.
And it’s not even close.

Nike holds a whopping 37 percent of the sneaker market, but that’s actually down from 39 percent from the first eight months of 2016.
Why the dip?

Monday, ESPN’s business analyst Darren Rovell reported the NPD Group announced Adidas passed Jordan brand for the second spot behind Nike.
