During Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, the San Antonio Spurs were sitting comfortably with a sizable lead over the Golden State Warrior for much of the contest.
That is until the best player on the Spurs first got tripped up, then later went down on the court, and finally out of the game and into the locker room in the third quarter.
Leonard Injured His Ankle Twice In A Span Of A Couple Minutes
Spurs All-Star and NBA Most Valuable Player Kawhi Leonard hit a corner three but stepped back after the release and tripped on teammate David Lee’s feet on the bench and turned his ankle.
Leonard seemed okay, at least all right enough to stay on the court, until he injured the same ankle, this time at the hand (or should we say foot?) of Warriors center Zaza Pachulia.

Just about a minute later, Leonard was again in the same spot, took a jumper and while in mid-air, Pachulia moves into his landing space and Leonard comes down on Pachulia’s foot.
