So many athletes – pro or amateur – have kids who carry the genes of being skilled at sports.
Not all of them may ever come close to being as good as their parent (see Marcus Jordan, MJ’s youngest, for an example), while others (like Joakim Noah, whose father Yannick was a world-class tennis player and won the 1983 French Open) have settled into pro careers of their own, or in the case of Shareef O’Neal, are on their way to one.
It appears Colts’ wide receiver T.Y. Hilton’s son may be following Shareef’s trend.
This Is Ty Hilton. He Is Four.
The elder Hilton posted a video over the weekend of his son, Ty, playing flag football. It’s important to keep in mind that what you are about to witness is coming from a four-year-old. Yes, his dad is a professional wide receiver, but little man is four years old.
Before you watch the video, we’re going to break down the film for you because after seeing it, you’re probably going to watch it again. And again.
Uh Oh, Not Starting Out So Good…
It starts out a little shaky. Little Ty, a.k.a. “Little Ghost” is four, so he’s still in the awkward phase.
He Gets Up!
Just when you think he’s down for the count, “Little Ghost” pops up and takes off.
That Bigger Kid Is Closing In…
There are two bigger kids in the shot and one reaches in for Ty’s flag.
This Is When The Magic Happens
This is where it gets good. Actually, “Little Ghost’s” moves had already been impressive enough until this point.
One Kid Down, One To Go
So, Ty turns the table on the bigger kids but he still has one left to beat.
