Mayweather’s earnings put him over the $1 billon mark, granting him access to a very elite club that only boasts Michael Jordan ($1.5 billion) and Tiger Woods ($1.4 billion).
But does that mean Mayweather is the greatest boxer of all time?
Is Woods the greatest golfer?
It probably depends on who you ask. There are many people who would say both are the best in their sport while others may adamantly disagree.
So we wanted to take a look at who the indisputed GOATs are in 10 different sports. Some of these are pretty obvious – one has already been mentioned – while others have an asterisk next to their name.

Hockey – Wayne Gretzky
The Great One is undoubtedly the best to ever strap on skates. It cannot be argued no matter how hard Pittsburgh fans try. When he retired in 1999, Gretzky held or shared 61 NHL records. Over time, he lost two and gained one, giving him 60 records still standing to this day. A few will never be touched like his 894 regular season goals, 1,963 career assists, 2,857 career points and 50 hat tricks.
