The 2017-18 NBA regular season starts next week but this past summer hasn’t felt like much of an offseason.
Highly-hyped rookies, blockbuster trades, crazy free agent signings, and brand-new uniforms have been on everyone’s mind since the Warriors won their second title in three years back in June and at one point it seemed like the drama would continue until opening tip-off on Oct. 17th.
Luckily, preseason started, all of the off-court stuff slowed down, and everyone could finally just focus on the game as the players shake the rust off and get back in their groove.
Some took longer to shake the rust off and some still haven’t gotten back into their groove with days left until the games start to count.
Here’s a look at the funniest and most disrespectful plays of the NBA preseason.

Dirk Nowitzki is a surefire first-ballot Hall of Famer but he loses the battle with the phantom that pushed him on this play from the Maverick’s Oct. 9th exhibition game against the Magic.

Nowitzki is always a good sport and had no problem calling himself out on Twitter over it either.

He even told reporters after the game where they could find the footage of him tripping and falling over air.
Who isn’t going to miss the big fella when he finally retires?
