The biggest sporting event of the year – and possibly the last five and next five years to come – is Floyd Mayweather Vs. Conor McGregor at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26th.

The fight is so huge, it’s being called the “The 180 Million Dollar Dance.”

Why “The 180 Million Dollar Dance,” you ask?

Because that’s the reported total purse; $100 million for the 41-year-old former boxing champion Mayweather and $80 million for the 29-year-old reigning UFC Lightweight Champion McGregor.

Of course, the two signed confidentiality agreements not to publicly disclose the prize purses and there are stipulations that need to be met (like meeting all of the alleged metrics the promoters set forth), but the amounts will be somewhere in that ballpark.

The hype for the bout is huge, too.

There were four press conferences scheduled throughout the world: Los Angeles (which took place on July 11th), Toronto (July 12th), New York (July 13th), and finally in London (on July 14th).

If that doesn’t sound like the biggest sporting event on the planet, what does?

So, you’d think with so much anticipation and money going into the fight – including the hype tour surrounding it – that it would be nearly impossible to get backstage right?

Wrong. In fact, for Zac Alsop it was incredibly easy.
