As if the Golden State Warriors haven’t broken enough records over the past three years, they were back at it again on Monday night against the Portland Trail Blazers in round one of the 2017 NBA Playoffs. Not only did the Dubs match an NBA record in the first quarter, they also tied another franchise record, and they did it doing what they do best… Scoring points in bunches!
You Know What That Means
The Warriors came out like gangbusters in the fourth and, what would be, final game of the series against the Blazers. They didn’t allow Damian Lillard and company a glimmer of hope as they dropped a whopping 45 points in quarter number one. When this team is clicking on all cylinders, it’s hard to imagine anyone beating them. They went on to win the game, completing the 4-0 sweep, 128-103.
